Henderson Station Sale of Assets #14075

NOTICE is hereby given that Greenwood Utilities will receive bids for the purchase of equipment from the Henderson Station plant ending the hour of 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, through the electronic bid submission link at www.allenesprojects.com or by hand delivering or mailing bids in a sealed envelope to the Greenwood Utilities office located at 101 Wright Place, Greenwood, MS 38930. All bidders will have the opportunity to attend a walk-through of all assets by scheduling a site visit with Greenwood Utilities.

Successful bidders will be responsible for all disassembly, loading, and transportation of any purchased equipment. Bidders shall protect all other Greenwood Utility assets during the disassembly and loading process. Bidders will be responsible for selective demolition of equipment and repairs to any Greenwood Utility assets damaged in the process of disassembly or removal of purchased equipment including walls or roof sections that must be removed to access equipment. Any wall or roof sections removed must be repaired with like materials and to match the existing structures and finishes. Successful bidder shall also be responsible for restoring a permanent, weatherproof building envelope if removed equipment leaves openings in exterior walls. Restored exterior wall sections should be clad with metal panels or other approved material.

Successful Bidder is responsible for removal off all components of purchased equipment, including any hazardous materials which may be incorporated therein.

All purchased equipment shall be removed from Greenwood Utilities property within 180 days of the date of bid acceptance. Bidders shall describe all contingencies associated with their bids as part of their original bid submittal. The successful Bidder will be required to execute a contract detailing the items they plan to purchase as well as their responsibilities as part of the purchase. Successful Bidders shall complete the attached bid form as part of their bid. Bidders may submit bids on any combination of items they find advantageous.

Greenwood Utilities reserves the right to award the items in the most advantageous combination to the Owner and to reject any and all bids.
